New vessel tracking system to boost safety in Subic harbor SUBIC BAY FREEPORT, 14 May 2013 - Vessels coming into harbor at the Subic Bay Freeport would feel doubly secure now, as the Subic Bay Freeport Chamber of Commerce (SBFCC) installed a new vessel tracking system to help raise the level of safety in this maritime port.

Salvtug expands tugboat fleet SUBIC BAY FREEPORT, 4/21/2013 — Marine services provider Malayan Towage and Salvage Corporation, also known as Salvtug, inaugurated on Friday three new tugboats to beef up its capacity to provide critical support services to the shipping industry. SUBIC BAY FREEPORT, 4/8/2013 - Members of the Hawaii National Guard and the SBMA Search and Rescue Team rappel down the newly-constructed collapsed structure search and rescue (CSSR) training facility of the SBMA Fire Department in the Subic Bay Freeport as they prepare for a week-long joint field training under the RP-US Balikatan military exercise. The Hawaii National Guard and the CBRNE Emergency Response Package Team (CERP-T) will also conduct swift-water rescue and CSSR training for local emergency responders from several flood-prone areas in Zambales. Local rescuers to get training from Hawaii National Guard in Subic
SUBIC BAY FREEPORT, 4/4/2013 – Search and rescue operators from flood-prone areas in Zambales will be receiving training on swift-water rescue from members of the Hawaii National Guard, as part of this year's Balikatan military exercise (BK13) between the Philippines and the United States. Despite the sweltering summer heat, these tourists lean back and enjoy a show in one of Subic Bay's many theme parks.
