The SUBIC BAY METROPOLITAN AUTHORITY (SBMA), through its Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), invites suppliers/manufacturers/distributors/contractors to apply for eligibility and to bid for the hereunder projects/items:

Prospective bidders must be eligible contractors, manufacturers or authorized distributors of the above-mentioned supplies and materials for bidding and must have proof of completion for the delivery of a similar project within the last two (2) years from the date of publication of this Invitation with an amount of at least fifty (50%) of the Approved Budget Cost (ABC) of the project for bidding.
The Eligibility Check/Screening as well as the Preliminary Examination of Bids shall use a non-discretionary "pass/fail" criteria. Post-qualification of the
lowest calculated bid shall be conducted.
All particulars relative to the Eligibility Statement and Screening, Bid Security, Performance Security, Pre-Bidding Conference(s), Evaluation of Bids, Post-Qualification and Award of Contract shall be governed by the pertinent provisions of R.A. 9184 and its Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR).
Bid Documents will be available to prospective bidders only upon payment of a non-refundable bid documents fee of P1,500.00 for each lots of I and II to the SBMA Treasury Dept. Bldg. 229, Waterfront Road, SBFZ, beginning on September 1, 2009 (Tuesday) 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to September 21, 2009 (Monday) from 8:00 A.M. to 12:00 NN.
A Pre-Bid Conference will be held on September 7, 2009 (Tuesday) at 2:00 p.m. at the PPMD Conference Room, Rm. 201, Bldg. 255, Barryman Road, Subic Bay Freeport Zone.
Deadline for the submission and opening of the Bid/Tender Documents shall be on September 21, 2009 (Monday) at 2:00 p.m., PPMD Conference Room, Rm. 201, Bldg. 255, Barryman Road Subic Bay Freeport Zone.
The SBMA assumes no responsibility whatsoever to compensate or indemnify bidders for any expenses incurred in the preparation of the bid.
