Subic Bay Freeport, 5/09/2012 - Delegates to the recently-concluded 45th annual conference of the Board of Governors of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) are enthralled by a jungle survival demonstration by Aeta tribal elder Dominador "Tata Kasoy" Liwanag at the Pamulaklakin Forest Trail in the Subic Bay Freeport. The delegates visited the Subic and Clark special economic zones, both former US military bases that are now bustling industrial facilities in the Philippines.

Pastolan Aeta women sell their handcrafted slippers at a complimentary stall given by the management of Harbor Point, the newest mall in the Subic Bay Freeport. Opened last April 26, the mall is envisioned as a home for the different community groups in the Zambales and Bataan area.

Dive Show on 'til June 11

Subic Bay Freeport, 04/12/2012 – Ocean Adventure recently welcomed tourists inside this premier Freeport with the International Champions High Dive Show. The show, which is in partnership with Brown Entertainment, was opened to the public last March 31 and will run up to June 11 this year. The High Dive Show is a display of Olympic springboard diving, as well as platform diving from various heights. Subic Bay Marine Exploratorium Inc., the company behind the marine theme park, has been offering tourists, students and corporate groups entertaining shows and presentations which aim to promote environmental awareness, protection and conservation. - Jonas Reyes, Manila Bulletin
